Until a couple of years ago, my password was the same for everything. Banking, email, insurance, apps — everything. Noticing the increase in security and data breaches, plus simply knowing this was never a good idea, I purchased the app 1Password. It's the best $50 a year I spend, and I couldn't tell you any of my passwords.

They are all encrypted and complicated. If you are still using the same password for everything — yes, I know it is more convenient — until it isn't — please upgrade your security.

1Password is my favorite, but there are plenty of other options out there. Just choose one and use it.
